Kings Pond Shantymen

With a repertoire that covers a wide range of shanty styles - long and short hauls, pumping and capstan as well as forebitters and whaling songs - expect authentic shanty style: unaccompanied male voices singing together in a lively fashion with harmonies thrown in rather than pre-planned. All the well-known favourites are included and audience participation is actively encouraged. In addition to the maritime material they also perform a few folk ballads, drinking songs and odd ditties.

Boey

After years of playing solo Beth yearned for a bigger sound; more vocal harmonies, more catchy guitar riffs and especially funky horn lines. Then she met her boyfriend Joey. BOEY was born. Beth and Joey (a.k.a BOEY) are a multi-instrumental duo that will get you ready to dance the night away with non stop hits! Expect guitar riffs, soulful piano, funky trumpet and luscious vocal harmonies - you’ll be singing along with us before you know it!
